ICPS

International Compound Purity Standards

ICPS is an independent, non-commercial standards body that publishes purity thresholds, assessment criteria, and methodological frameworks for peptides, natural health products, and research compounds. CompoundPurity is operated by ICPS. No vendor has input on published standards.

Health Canada

Natural Health Product Regulations

Natural Health Products sold in Canada must hold a valid Natural Product Number (NPN) issued by Health Canada. Products sold without authorization, with revoked licences, or with lapsed status are flagged in the registry.

Reference Standards

USP and ISO Frameworks

Where government-issued thresholds do not exist, findings are assessed against United States Pharmacopeia (USP) monographs and applicable ISO analytical standards. ICPS frameworks are applied where no other recognized standard exists.

Methodology

HPLC Purity Assessment

Purity claims are assessed against HPLC results where available. COA documents that do not disclose the analytical method are noted in the registry record. CompoundPurity does not conduct testing. We aggregate and report on findings produced by third parties.
